What is "Organized Effort"?
It is a web platform and set of principles upon which any community of people can self-organize and collaborate on public good ("altruistic") projects.
What is an "altruistic" project?
Altruism is the moral practice of concern for the happiness of others, upon which, a higher quality of life for all can be achieved. An altruistic project is one whereby its primarily goal is to enrich the experience of its recipients without the unwilling exploitation of people or resources. Who is this platform for?
Anybody, no matter the ability or background. If you find meaning in giving your time and effort to community projects that have the potential to create social impact. We especially encourage students/youth who are looking for opportunities that allow them to create a public record of their community involvement and contribution.
